DJ Andy Copeland is a well-known and highly acclaimed DJ and producer based in Manchester.

His career has taken him all over the U.K. playing to hundreds of thousands of people at events including V Festival in Staffordshire and residencies at The Plug, Sheffield, Opus, Manchester and Gatecrasher One, Sheffield.

Away from DJing, he has produced records under the guises of the Beat Officials and Test Pilots which have been featured on TV adverts and Ministry of Sound compilations.

He is also one third of the 3 Kings music collective.

His DJ career began when he worked as DJ at Staffordshire University Student Union whilst promoting a successful indie club night (“Temptation”) putting on bands like Blur, The Manic Street Preachers as well as DJs Laurent Garnier plus many more big names.

Equally comfortable with radio audiences, Andy worked at BBC Radio Stoke and produced their youth show Mix FM, a magazine programme which highlighted issues affecting young people whilst promoting new music (predominantly indie, hip hop and dance).

The show was acknowledged by both the Melody Maker and N.M.E as amongst the best regional alternative new music shows. The format of Mix FM allowed him to choose the best new music and gave him the opportunity to interview rising music and comedy stars (Bjork, De La Soul and John Thompson) and give airtime to the fledgling rave scene.

At the turn of the millennium Andy Copeland launched the hugely successful nightclub; Nemesis, Rochdale and Atlantis, Bolton. He also claimed third place in the Coca Cola U.K. DJ of the year,

a ten minute live spin-off.

Andy Copeland is also a successful voice-over artist; voicing TV trailers for BBC Television.
